How do I get help with my fees for Uni?

If you are a Higher Education student, the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) has a number of loans that may help you with the cost of your fees. The right loan for you will depend on your circumstances, eligibility and where you want to study. HELP loans are repaid through the tax system once your income reaches the minimum threshold for compulsory repayments. You will receive an advisory invoice after you enrol and then a final invoice after the census date when the HELP loan is activated.

On 1 January 2017, the VET Student Loans program was implemented, replacing the VET FEE-HELP scheme. This new VET loans program gives eligible students access to VET qualifications, particularly those who could not otherwise afford to make a payment upfront.
