Some providers of clinical and work integrated learning (WIL) placements require a police check to be completed if you have a clinical or WIL placement as part of your program. Note that this is a mandatory requirement for each calendar year that you complete placement, ie you need a Police Check that states 2019 for a placement in 2019. You must check with your Program Manager about the specific requirements of your placement.

fit2work is the approved vendor for Police Checks at FedUni. FedUni provides to fit2work a list of all students enrolled in WIL or course which requires a Police Check. This list is used to verify and record all applications. fit2work will inform FedUni of the outcome of your Police Check. You are advised to have a copy at hand at all times while on placement.

Access 'How to apply for a Police Check - fit2work', and take note of the strict requirements of the application. Students need to select ‘employee’ type, not ‘volunteer’ when submitting your form. All questions about this process must be forwarded to fit2work.
