How do I find out about an apprenticeship or traineeship?

Federation University has collated comprehensive information about apprenticeships and traineeships for prospective apprentices, parents, careers advisors, and employers. Australian apprenticeships and traineeships are available to anyone of working age and do not require any entry qualifications. You can be a school-leaver, re-entering the workforce or simply wanting to change careers.

There are options for you to begin your trade career while still at secondary school through VET in Schools, VCE, VCAL, Australian School Based Apprenticeships, Head Start Apprenticeship, work placements and work experience. You could also undertake a Pre-apprenticeship course which can reduce the time it takes to complete your apprenticeship.
