In the Industry Placement Program (IPP) you undertake a two year professional development program which covers topics such as job applications, résumés writing and interview skills, as well as job search strategies and career planning. Students studying in the areas of arts (selected majors), business, science, engineering, and information technology are eligible to apply to join IPP.

The Industry Placement Program involves placement of 13 or 26 weeks with a host organisation in the same field as your study. To help offset the costs in balancing study and placement, IPP students receive a scholarship payment of up to AUD $15,000 which is paid fortnightly during the placement period. In undertaking IPP you gain valuable industry experience and can apply the knowledge that you have learnt in the classroom.

Eligibility criteria and deadlines are applied, so please check these before submitting an application. If you have more questions about the program, contact the IPP Office.

If your organisation is interested in the benefits for the host in the Industry Placement Program or would like to know more, please contact the IPP Office.
