There are particular rules you should follow when listing your qualification when you have completed and been awarded a degree.

Depending on the qualification you have been awarded, there are particular letters you can place after your name to abbreviate your qualifications. These are also known as "post-nominal letters" or appellations. These letters are placed after the name to indicate that a person holds an educational degree or has membership to professional associations. Generally these letters are used only in formal and professional settings.

Honours
Add (Hons) after qualification if you completed an honours program: J Citizen BCom (Hons)

Multiple qualifications

Institution name
