Postgraduate study refers to the range of advanced programs offered at Federation University Australia. This type of study is usually designed for students who have already completed a Bachelor degree. However, for some specified courses, students may be eligible based on relevant work experience.

You can study at postgraduate level by either coursework or research. Postgraduate coursework degrees do not have a research component and can vary in length from graduate certificate courses (1-2 semesters), graduate diplomas (2-3 semesters) and masters (3-4 semesters). Postgraduate research degrees include doctoral programs which typically take 3-4 years to complete, and masters programs around 18 months to 2 years.
