International students generally need to show sufficient funds to cover their tuition fees and their living expenses for their first year in Australia. The amount of funds you will need to show during the pre-visa screening assessment will depend on a number of factors, including:

  • how much the tuition fees are for the program you are applying for
  • whether you are bringing any spouse or children with you to Australia

Detailed information on the financial requirements can be found on ourPre-visa screening webpage’

After successfully passing the pre-visa screening assessment, International students must pay their first semester's fees upfront before the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) is issued. Students who package their offer with an English and Academic Preparation (EAP) program, or are having FedUni arrange Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) on their behalf, will also have to pay for these in full before the CoE is issued.
