Finding your way around Federation University can be confusing at first, but it won’t take long until you feel right at home here!
At our SMB Campus, your room numbers will typically have a letter, and a number. Eg J102: The letter refers to the building; J Building. The first number refers to the floor; first floor. The remaining numbers refer to the individual room; Room 02. So for J102 we know that it is in J Building, on the first floor, in room 02. The door will be identified as J102. We also have some rooms that start with a 9, but don’t panic, this doesn’t mean we are missing floors 4 – 8! A room starting with a 9 refers to the basement level. K901 is in the basement level of K Building, in room 01.
It’s not always as straightforward as this, but you can access a campus map via federation.edu.au/maps, which will direct you to the building you need, and then if you can’t find the room you need, simply ask someone in the building to guide you – we are a pretty helpful bunch!
