A pre-requisite is a unit(s) that must be completed prior to undertaking another unit. For example, if you fail a pre-requisite, you will have to repeat the pre-requisite before moving on to the next unit.

Enrolling with pre-requisites

During enrolment, you must enrol in a unit pre-requisite via the Enrolment Shopping Cart before enrolling in the unit it is a pre-requisite for. For example, you must enrol in the Semester 1 pre-requisite of a Semester 2 unit prior to enrolling in the Semester 2 unit.

If a pre-requisite error appears when enrolling from your Enrolment Shopping Cart, add the missing pre-requisite unit to your Enrolment Shopping Cart and enrol in the pre-requisite before proceeding.
